Tournament

Compete. Perform. Inspire.

Tournament Overview

WYBC Global Games is a professionally organized international youth basketball tournament built on a simple idea: give teams a true world-stage competition experience with strong structure, strong messages of community and inclusivity, and a championship level atmosphere. Programs from different countries and basketball cultures come together to compete in a well-run environment that values development, sportsmanship, and competitive integrity.

The tournament is designed to deliver an authentic global experience, international matchups, diverse styles of play, and a standard of organization that supports players, coaches, and families throughout the event. Whether teams arrive chasing a title or chasing growth, WYBC is where youth basketball becomes global, and where memories last long after the final buzzer.

Fair Play Standards

Fair play is a core standard at WYBC Global Games. We expect respectful, sportsmanlike conduct from everyone involved—players, coaches, officials, and supporters—so every game reflects the best of international youth basketball: competitive, safe, and dignified.

Our Fair Play framework is informed by widely recognized basketball sportsmanship guidance used across the sport (including principles promoted by organizations such as FIBA and AAU). Please note that WYBC Global Games is independently operated and not affiliated with FIBA or AAU. We simply use proven best-practice standards from these organizations to help create a consistent tournament experience.

Our goal is a world-class experience for every team. If behavior falls below WYBC’s Fair Play standards, event staff may intervene and take appropriate action to maintain safety, respect, and competitive integrity. To protect the tournament experience for all teams, WYBC may issue warnings or take corrective action—including removal from the venue or tournament—if conduct violates fair play expectations.

Our goal is meaningful games for every program. If a team’s level of play is not aligned with its division, WYBC may adjust placement to a more competitive division so all teams experience fair, high-quality competition.
